At Groenendaal Transport, the month-end closing process took a lot of time, meaning that financial figures were only available late in the month. A major cause was that the required source data was delivered too late in the process.
As a result, management had little room to make timely adjustments. Decisions often had to be made based on outdated information, while the need for up-to-date and reliable financial insight was actually growing.
Solution
QUIKK optimized the entire month-end closing process. By organizing the delivery of source data earlier and in a more structured manner, the lead time of the month-end closing was significantly shortened.
In addition, we developed a new financial dashboard in Power BI, which is directly linked to Exact Online. The dashboard refreshes automatically, making financial data continuously available for analysis and reporting without manual intervention.
